My name is CJ Austin, a creator inspired by the art of storytelling.

As both an illustrator and a student studying interior design, my mission is building beautiful, cohesive worlds and spaces—whether they exist on the page or in real life. My experience as a fiction writer and lifelong artist fuels this passion, giving me a deep focus on character depth and detailed backstories.

I believe a space, like a story, must have a clear narrative. My design work is informed by an understanding of composition and mood. My illustrations are fantastical, vibrant, and always focused on the emotional truth of the character.

Currently, I am illustrating a children's book series and developing my own original fiction novel in my spare time. I am so passionate about the creation of lasting worlds and look forward to helping building yours!
